Blog’s New Home - Welcome!

Hello all my loyal readers (all 3 or 4 of you???)!

I’m happy to announce I’ve finally got the blog moved to its new home here at ScienceSexAndTheLadies.com. This took way longer than I thought, and I apologize, but I feel so much better about this location and this configuration. I, as many of you know, was at Blogger for, well, 15 years (Happy 15 Year Anniversary, this blog!). It was fresh and nice when I started back then, but it’s been long overdue to move. They were censoring every post I put up, and I couldn’t get them to stop - so that’s what really, really pushed me. [HERE’s the old Blogger site in case you’re curious)

However, I’ve wanted for a long time to re-do the style of my blog, and I got that chance here. Mainly, I wanted to get out of the grip of feeling as though I needed to post something every week to stay relevant. I simply wasn’t achieving that the last couple years, but also, it often forced me to put up something of very little substance, and I just wasn’t interested in that anymore.

Over these 15 years, I’ve written a lot of things that I’m proud of and that I want to get in front of people. I have a huge library of posts on a variety of topics - more than enough for any one person to have months of reading if they happened on this site. The problem is, though, that with a blog format, it’s just hard to find the the good stuff, or the particular type of stuff you might want to read. So…I pivoted and focused more on the whole of the content and not on just what’s new. Here you can find pages focusing on different topics, and it will take you right to a list of relevant blogs.

This way my blog is closer to what I always hoped it would be - a huge catalog of lady-gasm resources. I can now focus on doing quality posts whenever I please so that I can continue to increase the available lists of, for instance; movie SSL Reviews, journal article summaries, book reviews, or what ever I want. I can enjoy this work without the pressure, because the site is set up to largely stands on the abundance of material already available.

All that said, there’s still a lot of work to do on this site. It’s not the most beautiful yet, and the formatting pulled over from Blogger doesn’t always play nice here, so I will slowly be going through the posts and cleaning them up, but hey, at least it’s all here.

So that’s the deal. I’m excited. Please let me know if you have any problems or feedback about the site. Thanks for being patient :)
